Having owned dogs and cats for the best part of 50 years we know how much your pet means to you and your family. We both wanted to change direction from our previous careers and after much deliberation, Doncaster Hydrotherapy Centre is the result. We are hugely proud of what we have here. It very quickly became obvious to us that this isn't a job, it's a lifestyle. Here we are 13 years later, many thousands of clients have benefited from our dream all those years ago, but don't take our word for it come and see us anytime, unannounced see it as it is.
Mike and Di are passionate about what they do, Mike trained as an Orthopaedic Nurse in the Army. As a specialist nurse he has a vast experience with all things orthopaedic. You will quickly realise he loves telling you about it as well! He is very good at translating 'vet speak' into English. Being a specialist nurse has made a huge difference to the way we run things here.
Di has two passions in her life; her dogs and the well being of yours. Mike knows his place! Being a Kennel club approved show judge gives Di a distinct advantage when it come to seeing your dog on the move. She has a great gift for seeing movement and conformation in all dogs. But this isn't her only contribution, she has an uncanny knack of getting the best out of the team she works with.
To keep us grounded we share our home with the Athersbern Bernese Mountain Dogs, Golden Retrievers, Cats, and the occasional uninvited house guest from the fields. Its a great place to come to; we hope you agree.
Cheryl is a level 4 hydrotherapist, one of only a very few to attain this qualification. She is a fundamental part of the team and has been here for 9 years. She keeps us all on our toes.
